If no one knows why we’re alive
Or one and one is two,
Then how can you be certain
What it is that makes you you?
Can you take away one part of you
And still say, “I am me”?
Then if that’s so, then what of two?
Or maybe even three?
Or one and one is two,
Then how can you be certain
What it is that makes you you?
Can you take away one part of you
And still say, “I am me”?
Then if that’s so, then what of two?
Or maybe even three?
What is it that makes you you, in the truest meaning?
United by a common umbrella of art, we are still so very different. Sometimes it feels like the urge to make comes through rather than from, and it can be hard to explain what it is that truly constitutes a self.
Who am I, really?
This performance piece and video installation is an exploration into my own creative deep.
